University of Miami Hurricanes Make History Again

If you missed the University of Miami Vs Duke football game last night or if you are not into college football, and ladies, I know you are not into football, however, you need to read this because you will hear about this game's PLAY OF THE CENTURY for a long time. Plus ladies, you will have something to talk to your man about at the dinner table!

University of Miami was losing 27-24 with 6 seconds left in the football game and they had to return the ball all the way down the entire football field in order to win. Unlike basketball where time runs out when the clock strikes zero, in football once the play starts that play can continue until it is over. The odds were also against the University of Miami Hurricanes because one week ago they lost their head coach Al Golden. University of Miami Hurricanes were absolutely not expected to win and I am sure that all the $$$MONEY$$$ was on Duke. The referees seemed to go out of their way to call a couple plays in Dukes favor with penalties against University of Miami Hurricanes.

Anyway, by passing the ball to 8 different receivers (in what are called lateral passes to the rear) and dodging all of Dukes entire football team, University of Miami Hurricanes were able to run the football all the way down the field 76 yards for a touch down by Corn Elder, who plays the cornerback position. (Who knew you could pass a football 8 times in one play.)

It was a crazy long-shot. Has anyone ever seen that play before? No one that I've spoken to so far has ever seen that play before! The Miami Hearld reports it was a miracle. University of Miami's Hurricanes made history before for having the longest home winning streak in history with 58 wins. Alabama had 57 and Harvard 56.

Congratulations to University of Miami's interim coach, Larry Scott. Shred the want ads for a University of Miami Head Coach. We can stop looking. Fill that position with Scott. Let's start preparing this man's contract.
